These are the reasons why we choose the name "Crescendo Music". I understand that there are a lot of other groups/associations/awards ceremony with that name. But none associates the name with unplugged, acoustic music. That is what we are.

This group was formed in 2007. Headed by Paul Au and Hugo Ng, this Ipoh-based group focus mainly on unplugged acoustical music. From writing original works to cover songs, CM members are covering all types of venues. From weekly shows at cafe houses, we also cover a wide range of function such as company annual dinners, wedding dinners to any other functions you could come up with.

With only minimal acoustic musical instruments,
The Fifth Instrument, or simply known as the vocals, can be truly pushed to its most original position. The spotlight. Where there is enough free space for it to show its true diversity. Where it is free to twist and turn and dance along with the music.

This is what music should be.
Good music should be shared and enjoyed by everyone.
